Heroin in your Happy Meal?

An employee of a McDonald's restaurant in Pittsburgh was charged Wednesday with selling heroin in Happy Meals to customers using the coded request "I'd like to order a toy."
Allegheny County authorities made the arrest after an informant told them that an employee was selling the drug at a McDonald's in the East Liberty section of the city.
Customers looking for heroin were instructed to go through the drive-thru and say, "I'd like to order a toy," said Mike Manko, spokesman for District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala Jr. The customer would then drive to the window, hand over the money and get a Happy Meal box containing heroin in exchange, Manko said.
Undercover agents set up a drug buy and arrested Shania Dennis, 26, of East Pittsburgh. Dennis denied wrongdoing to reporters as she was being led away in handcuffs.
Authorities said they found 10 bags of heroin in a Happy Meal box and recovered another 50 bags from the suspect.
Another McDonald's employee was arrested this month for selling heroin out of a restaurant in nearby Murrysville.
Authorities said the heroin recovered Wednesday does not appear to be related to the fentanyl-laced heroin blamed for 22 overdose deaths in southwestern Pennsylvania

Is Bruce Jenner Working on Becoming A Woman?

Single Tranny Files: Bruce Jenner Working On Becoming A New Wo-Man! Considers Changing Name To Brigitte

Bruce Jenner Brigitte Bardot
This can’t be real… Can it?!? Either way, it’s the PUREST of comedy!!! The rumors of Bruce Jenner heading toward womanhood aren’t going away — they’re just becoming more outlandish!
According to National Enquirer reports:
NOW that Bruce Jenner seems to be well on his way to a gender-bending new look, he may be looking for a new name and a source says he’s leaning toward “Brigitte” after legendary screen siren Brigitte Bardot.
While the former Olympic decathlon champ hasn’t committed to the new moniker yet, there’s one thing that’s certain – it WON’T start with a “K”!
According to a source, the estranged husband of Kardashian momager Kris Jenner told a pal: “There’s going to be no more K’s in my life. I’m fed up with the Kardashians!”
“He’s also determined that the name he chooses has to start with a letter that comes well before ‘K,’” the source continued. “It makes him feel good to be ahead of the Kardashians in the alphabet.”
Although he’s long been a fan of the name “Jennifer,” Bruce is said also to be considering “Brenda,” “Brette,” and “Belle.” But “Bruscilla” is one name he won’t be going near. Right right now, the source says the frontrunner is “Brigitte.”
“At first Bruce was intrigued with Bruscilla, but after he thought about it some more, he decided it didn’t work for him,” the source explained. “He said, ‘It doesn’t roll off the tongue very well. Bruscilla sounds like some kind of disease.’
“He loves ‘Brigitte’ not only because it’s such a beautiful name, but it makes him think of Brigitte Bardot, who was a total bombshell.
“She also starred in (the 1956 movie) ‘And God Created Woman’ – and Bruce thinks it’s just perfect since he’s in the process of becoming a woman.”
Bruce, 64, and Kris, 58, announced split in October after 22 years of marriage. And as The ENQUIRER recently reported, it appears he’s already begun taking the first steps to change genders. On Jan. 19, he was spotted entering The Beverly Hills Surgical Center, where a source said he underwent a “laryngeal shave,” a procedure to soften the appearance of his Adam’s apple.
He’s grown his hair longer and has been wearing it pulled back in a ponytail, which accentuates his delicate, surgically enhanced facial features. In January, he stepped out with manicured, long fingernails.
Bruce is also looking to make an appearance as a guest judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” said a source. Stepdaughter Khloe recently snagged a two-episode guest-judging role on the upcoming sixth season of the hit cable show, in which 14 drag queens compete for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar,” and Bruce has asked her to put in a good word for him.
“Bruce has been a huge fan of the show for a long time,” said the source. “He’s checked with E! executives to make sure it won’t conflict with his ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ duties. For years Bruce felt hemmed in by Kris, but now he wants to be free to pursue his own interests, including judging drag queen contests.”

Race Matters? West Virginia Hillbilly Shoots Two Black Neighbors Dead After Mistaking Them For Burglars!

man shoot neighbors
Something smells a little fishy.

Man Kills Two Black Neighbors Without Warning

Anybody wanna vote for gun control yet? No? Oh, ok…
According to NY Daily News:
A West Virginia man shot and killed his new neighbor and the man’s brother without warning as the two inspected their land.
The shooter told police he thought his alleged victims were breaking into a building he mistakenly thought he owned, and police are baffled as to why he chose such a drastic measure to preserve something of no value to him.
The Cabell County Sheriff’s Department charged Rodney Bruce Black, 62, of Barboursville, with two counts of first degree murder after he killed Garrick Hopkins, 60, of Milton and his brother, Carl Hopkins Jr., 61, of Oak Hill, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sheriff Tom McComas told the Daily News on Monday.
Garrick Hopkins and his wife had just purchased land next door to Black and planned to start building a home in the next few weeks, McComas said. The landowner had invited his brother over to check out the property Saturday afternoon.
Black saw the two men — who were both married with children — looking inside a shed. Then, allegedly without warning or calling the police, he grabbed a rifle and fired once at both men.
They died at the scene.
“He shot first and then called 911,” McComas said. “He said they were breaking into his house but it wasn’t his property.”
“It’s just a terrible, terrible tragedy,” he said. “We’re still trying to figure all of this out. … Hopefully we’ll find out his reasoning as the investigation continues.”

Growing up White .

Man Describes Growing Up White And Black Families Rejection This is pretty fascinating, especially since he did not have an actual relationship with another black person until he was 25-years-old. According to NPR.org: Chad Goller-Sojourner is African-American. In 1972, when he was 13 months old, he was adopted by white parents in Tacoma, Wash. He and his siblings are all different races than their parents. They were raised in a white suburb, but worked hard to expose them to other people who looked like him, and checked out every library book with a black author they could find. They even sent them to a more diverse school in a different neighborhood. But Goller-Sojourner, now a writer and solo performer based in Seattle, says there was a limit to what his parents could provide. “One of the things I think was hardest for me is I didn’t have any independent relationships with black people, especially adult black people, till I was an adult,” he says. “I was 25 before I saw a black doctor.” As a child, he experienced racism before he had the language to understand it, he says. “For instance, shopping: I learned pretty early on that when people knew I was with this white lady, that they treated me differently,” he says. As he got older, he realized that if he didn’t want to be followed in a store, he’d better make sure people knew he was with her. “I would hold up some outfit and say, ‘Hey Mom, could I get this?’ And she’d be like, ‘No!’ Which let everybody within earshot know that I was with a white lady, and then suddenly, that privilege came back over me.” “My source of love and hate came from the same well,” he explains. “My parents looked just like the same people who were calling me a n**ger or porch monkey. … My mother and my parents were in my corner, but it was still difficult to process.” In college he began what he calls a “descent into blackness and out of whiteness.” He describes it as a journey, giving up the privileges he claimed as a child of white parents and learning to accept his identity independent of them. He added Sojourner to his name. “I moved to New York City, where for the first time I found my own reflection pleasing,” Goller-Sojourner says. “I learned to fall in love with myself and being black in my mid- to late-20s. And although it was a beautiful experience, it shouldn’t have taken 25 years to do that.” He says that while a black home may be best for a black child, he’s not opposed to transracial adoption. “Here’s what gets people upset: Part of my story is, I was 13 months old, and according to the social workers in my file, I’d already been passed over by two or three black families because they considered me too dark,” he says. His parents were among the first wave of transracial adopters, and did their best to prepare him for the real world. Parents today can do even better, he says. “I don’t have a checklist,” he says, “but if I did, it would sound something like this: If you don’t have any close friends or people who look like your kid before you adopt a kid, then why are you adopting that kid? Your child should not be your first black friend.”

China Test Fires missile.

January 25, 2014 BEIJINGChina’s
military has released images of an intercontinental ballistic missile
with enough range to reach the United States, as Beijing is involved in a
series of rows threatening to embroil Washington. The pictures of
Chinese soldiers test-firing a Dongfeng-31 missile, which is said by
experts to be able to carry nuclear warheads 8,000 kilometers (4,960
miles), appeared in the People’s Liberation Army Daily newspaper on
Tuesday. Further images showing soldiers dressed in protective suits,
suggesting that the drill was simulating the launch of an armed warhead,
were also posted on the sohu.com news portal, attributed to the
newspaper. Sohu.com said it was the first time that images of such an
exercise had been released. The images could not be found on the PLA
Daily’s website when checked by AFP on Thursday. China is embroiled in a
series of territorial disputes with its neighbors in the South China
Sea, and is locked in a row with Japan in the East China Sea over
islands administered by Tokyo and claimed by Beijing. The U.S. has a
security alliance with Japan and Vice President Joe Biden said last
month that a strategic shift to Asia would continue. -SW

Military build-up continues:
Visiting U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns met Thursday with
senior Chinese officials amid mounting tension between Beijing and
Washington over China’s increasingly public displays of military might
in the region. As Burns arrived in Beijing earlier this week, China’s
army showed off the first-ever images of its advanced Dongfeng-31
intercontinental ballistic missile being tested. Published Tuesday on a
website affiliated with People’s Liberation Army (PLA), the photos show
soldiers preparing and test launching the missiles, which put China’s
nuclear warheads in range of the U.S. West Coast and most European
capitals. “Seeing this photo, Americans will of course take it as a sign
of more remarkable military threat,” Shi Yinhong, a professor of
International Relations and director of the Centre on American Studies
at China’s Renmin University told CBS News. “But China is determined and
will continue its military buildup despite the fact that Amer

China issues warnings

China issues warnings to foreign military planes over defense zone

Beijing has begun issuing warnings to foreign military planes entering its self-declared air defense zone over the East China Sea, AP reported. Air Force spokesman Shen Jinke said that multiple types of Chinese planes recently conducted a long-range patrol inside the sweeping zone that was declared in November. The Chinese planes flew alongside a number of foreign military aircraft and issued warnings to them. The spokesman did not identify the planes or say when the patrol was conducted. The US, Japan and other countries earlier denounced the zone's declaration as provocative.

Pregnant Nun.

Pregnant Nun Shocks Italy

A nun got pregnant in Italy. The pregnant nun well into adulthood gave birth to a baby boy recently. She felt pain in her abdomen which she thought was a case of stomach cramps. The Roman Catholic nun was rushed to a nearby hospital where the delivery took place.
The nun, whose privacy has been respected, has named her son Francis. Whether this is in honor of Pope Francis or Saint Francis of Assisi is a disputed fact. The small town of Rieti in Italy was where this shocking incident took place.
When questioned, the nun said she had not the slightest idea that she was pregnant. What can one say to that? Many people at the hospital have donated clothes and stuff for the infant the nun gave birth to.
Meanwhile, the town mayor has urged the public to refrain from scandal mongering and allow the nun her right to confidentiality.
The rest of the sisters at the convent expressed ignorance as to how she became pregnant in the first place. They have further volunteered to take care of the baby boy on a collective basis.
While there is such a thing as parthenogenesis (virgin birth) in Nature, it is a very rare phenomenon. Very few women can claim to give birth without the previous accompaniment of sexual intercourse or technologically assisted methods of fertilization.
For now, it remains a mystery whether or not the nun had any relations with someone before the birth of her baby son.

Robin Thicke and Kendrick Lamar Superbowl bound!

Robin Thicke and Kendrick Lamar are Super Bowl bound next month. Well, they’re not really going to the Super Bowl, but they’re the headlining act for ESPN’s Pre-Super Bowl Party–and that’s a big deal, too. Lamar is featured on Robin Thicke’s late summer hit Give It to U, and has since received a Grammy Award nomination for his work.
The prestigious pre-game party takes place in New York City on Friday night January 31st at the Lower Manhattan’s Pier 36/Basketball City–just a few miles away from MetLife Stadium, where the Super Bowl will be played. Since this year’s game signifies the first time the Super Bowl has been played in NYC, the theme for the party is a ‘New York State of Mind.’ ESPN says there will be skyscrapers and a starry skyline decorating the facility in honor of the pre-game fun.
Robin Thicke is best known for his mega-hit single Blurred Lines, during which Miley Cyrus made her infamous twerking debut at the MTV Video Music Awards back in August–replete with a foam finger and little to no clothing.

Cop Shoots Wife, Children and Mother-in-law then Himself.

A shocking discovery was made late Thursday at a home where police believe a police officer shot and killed his wife, two young children and his mother-in-law, before killing himself. It was the second murder-suicide in Utah involving parents killing their children in just two days. The bodies of Kelly Boren, 32, Joshua “Jaden” Boren, 7, Haley Boren, 5, and Marie King, 55, and officer Joshua Boren, 34, were found Thursday night inside a Spanish Fork house where they all lived. “We’re a small department. Our families are one big family, so we knew his entire family as well. Just a tremendous shock to our entire organization,” said Lindon Police Chief Cody Cullimore. “He was well-liked, had a lot of friends at the sheriff’s office,” said Utah County Sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Cannon. “He was a big guy, just solid as a rock muscle guy. But just a teddy bear is how I would have described him. Just a mild-mannered personality.”

North Korea Issues Warning to United States and South Korea

North Korea issued a warning to the United States and South Korea to cancel joint military exercises scheduled for February through April, threatening that the continuation of the drills would have dire consequences.
North Korea's propagandizing Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland issued the warning in a statement released by the North Korean Central News Agency.
"(North Korea) sternly warns the United States and South Korea to halt any military drills that will ruin the inter-Korean relations... The northbound nuclear war drills, if carried out, will fatally destroy the inter-Korean relations and trigger unimaginable calamities and disasters."
A North Committee spokesperson also noted in the statement that the planned U.S.-South Korea military drills equate to a declaration of "full scale nuclear war." South Korean Ministry of Defense spokesperson Kim Min-Seok responded to the North's warning, telling reporters "If North Korea commits military provocations by taking advantage of these routine exercises... the military will retaliate severely and firmly." Threats from North Korea over the annual U.S.-South Korea joint military exercises are routine.

Thousands of Dead Fish

100,000 fish die in northern Nevada marina after mysterious drop in oxygen levels

State wildlife officials are trying to figure out why all the fish have died in a northern Nevada marina where the stocked fishery has flourished since the man-made lake was created nearly 15 years ago.
An estimated 100,000 trout, bass and catfish have died over the past month in the Sparks Marina along U.S. Interstate 80 east of Reno, apparently the result of a dramatic, unexplained drop in dissolved oxygen levels,
The Sparks Marina opened in 2000, with a 2-mile walking and bike trail, beaches, playgrounds, picnic areas and a fishing pier. The former aggregate pit operated by Helms Construction Co. had been found to be contaminated in 1988 by pollutants leaking from an adjacent tank farm, but state environmental officials said all the pollution had been cleaned up before a 1997 New Year's Day flood sent Truckee River waters into the pit.

Gabrielle Union Tells Men to Throw Away Condoms.

Where Is D Wade??? Gabrielle Union Tells Men To Throw Away Their Condoms So Hoes Won’t Keep The Sperm

Gabrielle Union’s show on BET “Being Mary Jane” is a certified hit if the ratings are any indication, but her personal life may be just as scandalous as the show. The actress is still dealing with the fact that her husband to be Dwyane Wade fathered a child outside of their relationship, but she’s staying tight lipped about the situation while doing press rounds for the show. In a recent interview with Coco Fab, she says some pretty interesting things about the show and gives some rather frank advice to men as well. When asked if viewers will ever find out what Mary Jane did with that frozen sperm she collected from a lover in the movie pilot, Gabrielle says: “You will find out.The sperm becomes a character that you will see throughout the show and you will find out what happens to the sperm. So, throw away your own condoms fellas. Throw away your own condoms [looks at camera and makes a face].” Gabby admits her character Mary Jane just can’t get it right when it comes to men: “She can’t get it right, she’s on a case of can’t get it right. God bless her. She tries, she wants the world to think she has it all and she’s super together and she just makes a lot of bad decisions. Within one episode, you’re going to laugh with her, cry with her, you’re going to cuss her out, you’re going to hate her and then you’ll be like, ‘Girl, can you just get right?’” - See more at: http://bossip.com/895991/where-is-dwade-gabrielle-union-tells-men-to-throw-away-their-condoms-so-hoes-wont-keep-the-sperm/#sthash.AZSVsBDR.dpuf

Would you like a cockroach with your Chicken?

Chicken Plant Cockroaches Cause Shut Down
If you’re still eating chicken after the last shocking headline that 97 percent of chicken breasts tested harbored bacteria that could make you sick, then this might just put you off of chicken completely.
Foster Farms has had been shut down due to the cockroach problems in its plant. As CNBC put it: Chicken à la cockroach, anyone?
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has shut down the Livingston, California facility on Wednesday after finding cockroaches, alive, at their plant on five different visits. The agency warned the company and another Foster Farms plant in Fresno, CA about the cockroach problems, and due to the recent salmonella outbreak linked to this company’s chicken.
With cockroaches in a food processing plant there’s a real danger to consumers, according to Sandra Eskin, director of Pew’s food safety program.
“Cockroaches can carry salmonella and that is a concern because we have an outgoing outbreak at the plant in Livingston, California, and a couple others operated by Foster Farms,” said Eskin.
The bugs were found all over the plant, where people wash their hands and in production lines.

Japan condemns China fishing curbs

Japan on Sunday joined the United States in criticising China's new fishing restrictions in the South China Sea, saying the curbs, coupled with the launch last year of an air defence zone, has left the international community jittery.
Defence Minister Itsunori Onodera made the comment after observing the Japanese Self-Defence Forces' elite airborne brigade conducting airdrop drills designed to hone their skills to defend and retake remote islands.
Earlier on Sunday, Chinese government ships briefly entered what Japan considers its territorial waters near a group of disputed East China Sea islets, in the first such action this year.
"Setting something like this unilaterally as if you are treating your own territorial waters, and imposing certain restrictions on fishing boats is not something that is internationally tolerated," Onodera told reporters.
"I'm afraid not only Japan but the international society as a whole has a concern that China is unilaterally threatening the existing international order" with its new restrictions in the South China Sea and the creation of an air defence identification zone, he said.
The fishing rules, approved by China's southern Hainan province, took effect on January 1 and require foreign fishing vessels to obtain approval to enter disputed waters in the South China Sea, which the local government says are under its jurisdiction.
Washington called the fishing rules "provocative and potentially dangerous", prompting a rebuttal from China's foreign ministry on Friday.
Ties between China and Japan, the world's second- and third-largest economies, have been strained due to a long-running row over ownership of the group of tiny, uninhabited islands called the Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China.
Tensions soared in recent months after Beijing announced the air defence identification zone covering a large swathe of the East China Sea, including the disputed isles, and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited a controversial Tokyo shrine seen by critics as a symbol of Japan's wartime aggression.
China and South Korea, where bitter memories of Japan's past militarism run deep, have repeatedly expressed anger in the past over Japanese politicians' visits to Yasukuni Shrine, where Japanese leaders convicted as war criminals by an Allied tribunal are honoured along with those who died in battle.
Stoking tensions further, three Chinese government ships on Sunday morning briefly entered what Japan sees as its territorial waters near the disputed islands, controlled by Japan but also claimed by China, the latest in such occasional entries by Chinese ships.
"We can never overlook such repeated entries. In addition to diplomatic efforts, we will cooperate with Coast Guard and securely defend our territory and territorial waters around the Senkaku," Onodera said.
Patrol ships from China and Japan have been shadowing each other near the islets on and off for months, raising fears that a confrontation could develop into a clash.

Atlanta Man Sentenced to 8 months fo Slapping Baby and Using Racist Slur.

What kinda person calls a toddler a “n***er”???? Via USAToday A man who pleaded guilty to slapping a crying toddler on a U.S. flight has been sentenced to eight months in federal prison. Joe Rickey Hundley was sentenced Monday. He pleaded guilty in October after reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors. Prosecutors say Hundley used a racial slur to refer to the 19-month-old boy, who is black, and hit him under the eye as the flight descended to the Atlanta airport in February. Prosecutors had recommended six months in prison. The judge said he imposed a higher sentence in part because of Hundley’s criminal history, which includes a prior assault. Hundley’s lawyer objected to the deviation from the recommendation in the plea agreement and said after the hearing that she believes the sentence is disproportionate - See more at: http://bossip.com/891496/hate-crimes-atlanta-man-sentenced-8-months-in-federal-prison-for-using-racial-slur-and-slapping-crying-toddler-aborad-airplane-43081/#sthash.kzphN7g7.dpuf

Court documents show that Grammy-nominated gospel singer Marvin Sapp received a personal protection order against a 30-year-old Michigan doctor about three months before she went missing.
Sapp alleged that Teleka Patrick claimed to be his wife and won a protection order in September. It's effective until March 18.
Patrick's car was found in a ditch on Dec. 5 along Interstate 94 in northern Indiana, about 100 miles from the hospital where she was a resident in Kalamazoo. Her wallet, cash and identification were in the car.
Investigators say she'd tried to check into a Kalamazoo hotel earlier that day.
Her family says regardless of Patrick's emotional state, they believe she encountered danger because it's unlike her to not contact family or friends.
Police and the FBI are investigating her disappearance.

12 inch Ipad

A series of predictions by analysts shows that Apple may introduce its 12-inch iPad Pro this year in the fall season. The large screen is the most obvious reminder that Apple is thinking big. It will furthermore contain an A8 processor. In the capacity of a notebook, this model will surely upset the market trends.
This was something that Microsoft had been trying to accomplish for a while yet had desperately failed to do. Its Windows 8 platform just couldn’t face the competition. The current plans of Apple have lent ARM a hand since it will be manufacturing the chips in the large screen iPad. And while the processor in a MacBook Air occupies a hefty chunk of the total cost price of building the device, the processor in a 128 GB iPad accounts for a mere 4% in sum of costs to Apple.
Whichever way you look at it, the 12-inch screen remains the most prominent feature of the slated contraption from Apple. This is akin in many ways to the 11.6 inch MacBook Air. Yet of course there are subtle differences. The prognostications point to the fact that it is not just a longer and wider screen that is at stake here.
Rather Apple has allowed extra space in order to build a hybrid that will be both notebook and tablet in its makeup. That would be a new thing in its own right. And it would thus be an attractive alternative to the pre-existing situation in the market.

Dog needs Knee Surgery

Apple Apple Apple...

Apple and Google have both already done a lot to shake up the traditional PC market but don’t expect either of them to stop anytime soon. Barron’s flags a note from Evercore Partners analyst Patrick Wang, who thinks that Apple’s upcoming 12- to 13-inch iPad has the potential to “transform the traditional notebook market as we know it” because it will be the first time that Apple has made an iPad that’s targeted specifically toward Microsoft’s PC customer base.
“Arriving in fall ‘14, Apple goes Enterprise with an 12-inch iPad,” Wang writes. “Powered by the A8 chip (perhaps 4C), this expands ARM’s reach and, once again, transforms the traditional notebook market as we know it. Expect a 2-1 hybrid — think iPad + MBA — similar to how most iPads are used in the workplace and in the same spirit of MSFT’s Surface.”
As Wang acknowledges, Apple isn’t really doing something innovative as far as form factor goes since it’s basically releasing a new version of the iPad that will be built like Microsoft’s Surface. So why would companies flock to the Apple device instead toward devices such as the Surface Pro? One answer could be that the iPad already enjoys a robust app ecosystem that isn’t at all lacking for developers. Another is that workers who have iPhones and iPads at home are already familiar with iOS so in theory there shouldn’t be the same sort of learning curve that comes with Windows 8.
What’s particularly interesting about Apple’s upcoming “iPad Pro,” however, is the specific market that it will reportedly target: Schools. We’ve read reports that Google has been making major inroads into schools with its low-cost, low-maintenance Chromebook laptops, so it looks like Microsoft rivals smell blood when comes to displacing PCs as the default computing machines in schools.

Legal marijuana sales start in Colorado

Legal marijuana sales start in Colorado

First off, I ask myself, how long until pot is legal in the entire USA?

Retail marijuana stores are open for business on New Years’ Day in Colorado, the first state that has successfully legalized the controlled sale and use of recreation pot. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the cloud of legal controversy has lifted.

Several approved retail stores planned to open on New Years’ morning in Colorado, with as many as 30 stores officially ending the prohibition on legalized marijuana in that state.
Washington state also legalized marijuana in November 2012, but it is at least six months away from having a government-controlled sales system in place.
Officials in Washington state are using their liquor control board (or LCB) to handle the legal process of making marijuana available to the public, which has turned out to be a much-slower tactic that the Colorado model- which uses a medical marijuana network that is already in place.
The Washington LCB has 3,746 applications to grow, process, or sell marijuana that it needs to weed through.
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer says that it was told by the LCB that it takes 90 days to process each application.
It also asks a question that we covered in depth last month.

Baboon syndrome is a rare rash that appears on the buttocks, but can also appear in the armpits.

A 40-year-old man with a sore throat and fever was diagnosed with tonsillitis, and was prescribed penicillin, a common antibiotic. But several days later, the man developed a rash over his armpits, groin and buttocks — an unusual condition known as "baboon syndrome."
The condition, more formally called symmetrical drug-related intertriginous and flexural exanthema (SDRIFE), is known as baboon syndrome because the rash on the patient's buttocks resembles the red hindquarters of some monkeys.
Because doctors often prescribe penicillin antibiotics to treat tonsillitis and other bacterial infections, it is important to be aware that baboon syndrome is one of the medication's possible side effects, wrote the researchers who reported the man's case online Nov. 28 in the journal BMJ Case Reports.
The condition is usually caused by an allergic reaction to penicillin drugs, but can also be caused by exposure to mercury or nickel, said Dr. Andreas Bircher, a dermatologist at University Hospital of Basel in Switzerland. (He was not involved in the study but has reported other cases of baboon syndrome.)
In the present case, during the man's initial examination, he had enlarged and inflamed tonsils, according to the physicians at the NHS Lothian hospital in the United Kingdom who reported the case. His regular doctor had prescribed penicillin for him two days earlier, but the patient became unable to swallow

Hezbollah's help to Assad?

Beirut car bomb: Sunni payback for Hezbollah's help to Assad?

The bombing follows Lebanon's arrest of a Saudi member of an Al Qaeda-linked group that bombed the Iranian embassy in Beirut in Nov.

A car bomb ripped through the southern suburbs of Beirut today, killing at least five people in what appeared to be the latest blowback from the civil war in neighboring Syria.

The blast occurred amid reports that the Lebanese authorities have arrested a Saudi member of an Al Qaeda-affiliated organization which claimed responsibility for a twin suicide bomb attack in November against the Iranian embassy in Beirut. The explosion occurred about 200 yards from the political office of Lebanon's Shiite militant organization Hezbollah, although it was unclear whether the building, which sustained no damage, was the target of the attack.
At least three cars were burned in the explosion, which shattered windows and shopfronts and scarred the facades of surrounding apartment blocks. Lebanese army green berets cordoned off the blast site while Hezbollah men, some carrying AK-47 rifles, others with walkie-talkies, marshaled rescue workers and ambulances to the scene. At least 60 people were wounded by the blast.

Walmart Manager, Hops in Theives Car to Stop them From Stealing Beer.

Walmart manager, in quest to stop Bud Light theft, winds up going on a 15-mile ride in the back of the thieves’ truck

Earlier this week, a man and a woman walked into a Titusville, Florida Walmart. They loaded up a shopping cart with 12 cases of beer and then startedwalking it out toward their truck in the store’s parking lot. As WRDQ/WFTV Eyewitness News reports, that’s when store manager Mike Dawson steps into the story. Suspicious of the pair, he asked them for, “…a receipt and they kept throwing beers into their car.” They began to back up their truck with Mike behind it. Not wanting to get run over, he decided to jump on in.
WKMG Local 6 News reports that despite a Walmart manager joining their stolen beer in the truck, the thieves took off, speeding miles away from the store. They wound up making two stops.
Dawson told WRDQ, “One time, they tried to beat me up, and I fought with them and lost my glasses. The second time was like in the back woods somewhere, I’m like, ‘I’m not getting out for you run me over.’”Along the way, Mr. Dawson started throwing beer cans out of the back, in an attempt to get the attention of other drivers, hoping for some kind of help. And, as WESH 2 News reports , help did arrive in the form of veteran Dave Stewart.Police say the unidentified suspects are still at large and Walmart has not given a statement regarding the incident.

Trey Griffey's Catches First Touchdown Pass

Trey Griffey caught the first touchdown pass of his Arizona career in Tuesday's AdvoCare V100 Bowl with his father, Ken Griffey Jr., behind an end zone with a camera.
Griffey made a leaping grab on the 26-yard pass from quarterback BJ Denker to give the Wildcats a 21-6 lead over Boston College at the end of the first quarter.
However his dad, the former Seattle Mariners legend who finished his career with 13 All-Star appearances and 630 homers, was stationed in the other end zone's photography area. But in the fourth quarter of Arizona's blowout 42-19 win, Trey Griffey caught a second touchdown pass, this one in the end zone in front of his dad.
After not making a catch in any of Arizona's first nine games, Griffey had 11 catches in the past three games for the Wildcats, including three for 25 yards in Arizona's upset win over Oregon.
For those of us children of the 1990s, it's jarring to see Ken Griffey Jr.'s son playing college football. He was the epitome of baseball cool for many of us when we were kids. And Trey's not the only son of a famous 1990s era athlete to make his mark for a Pac-12 team this year either. Barry Sanders' son, Barry Sanders Jr., displayed some quick feet reminiscent of his father earlier this season against Washington State
