Two 'terrorist explosions' have struck Syria's second city of Aleppo
Two 'terrorist explosions' have struck Syria's second city of Aleppo, according to state TV, as up to 10,000 troops are reported to be massing on the outskirts of the besieged city of Homs.
The blasts have reportedly killed 11 people and were the first in Aleppo, the northern city which has been relatively quiet since the uprising against President Bashar al Assad's regime erupted last March.
State TV blamed the attack on "armed terrorist gangs" and reported a number of casualties, including soldiers.
Activists said there were three blasts and one of them happened near a military intelligence building.
Sky News chief correspondent Stuart Ramsay said families in Homs have been making preparations to die ahead of an anticipated major offensive by government forces there and towards the Lebanese border.
