Aaron Rodgers denies Gay rumors.
Over the past few days, an online rumor has emerged regarding the question of whether Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is gay. We’ve ignored them, for a couple of reasons.
First, it doesn’t matter if he is. Second, he hadn’t personally addressed the rumor.
On Tuesday, Rodgers tackled the topic during his weekly appearance on ESPN Milwaukee. We know this because one of the ESPN Milwaukee on-air hosts sent us an email with a partial transcript of Rodgers’ comments.
“I’m not gay,” Rodgers said. “I really, really like women. That’s all I can say about that.”
While much different than Mike Piazza’s on-field “I’m not gay” press conference, Rodgers’ decision to address the issue gives life to a story that many would have ignored. The story isn’t that Rodgers may be gay; the story is that Rodgers felt compelled to address the rumor by explaining that he isn’t.
That’s all we plan to say about any of it, unless Rodgers addresses it again or some other tangible development occurs.

Woman has arm Amputated because Handcuffs were Too Tight.
A Ross woman sued Allegheny County today, claiming that sheriff’s deputies injured her arm and the jail’s former medical provider ignored her complaints, resulting in amputation. Amy J. Needham, 35, of Ross, was arrested by county sheriffs on April 2, according to the complaint. Her attorney, Marvin Leibowitz, said she was the subject of a warrant because she missed a preliminary hearing on a charge that was ultimately reduced to a disorderly conduct. When sheriff’s office employees arrived, Ms. Needham said she was using the bathroom, but they broke down the bathroom door, according to the complaint. They shocked her with a Taser, applied arm bars and wrist locks, and put on handcuffs “that were too tight,” the complaint said. That treatment, according to the complaint, caused “compartment syndrome,” which is increased pressure in a muscle compartment that can damage both muscles and nerves. Over the course of around a week in jail, according to Mr. Leibowitz, Ms. Needham made 16 requests to see a doctor, but was denied. She was finally hospitalized at UPMC Mercy where her arm was amputated above the elbow, according to the complaint. “She feels that her life is ruined,” said Mr. Leibowitz, adding that his client is a mother of three children, ages 5 to 9, and previously worked at a restaurant. “I think she’s having psychological problems. You’re 35 years old and you lose your arm.” Mr. Leibowitz said Ms. Needham is off of work awaiting a prosthesis. They have sued Sheriff William Mullen, sheriff’s Lieut. John Kearney, sheriff’s Detective Jared Kulik, Allegheny County, and Allegheny Correctional Health Services, which ran the jail infirmary through August. The complaint alleges excessive force, cruel and unusual punishment, battery and negligence, and demands more than $75,000 in damages. A county spokeswoman declined to comment, citing a general policy against talking about litigation. Sheriff Mullen could not be immediately reached for comment. - See more at: http://bossip.com/888928/jesus-take-the-wheel-woman-had-arm-amputated-because-police-handcuffs-were-too-tight/#sthash.IfaQf2iO.dpuf

600 People Involved in Movie Theater Brawl, 5 Arrested
Five teenagers were arrested when a 600-person brawl broke out in a Florida movie theater's parking lot on Christmas night.
Described by police as a "melee," the fight occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday outside the Hollywood River City 14 movie theater in Jacksonville when a group tried to storm the theater's doors without purchasing tickets, police said. Several had rushed an off-duty police officer working as a security guard.
The officer "administered pepper spray to disperse the group, locked the doors and called for backup, following protocol," said Lauri-Ellen Smith, a spokeswoman for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Soon after the pepper spray was used, "upward of 600 people moving throughout a parking lot about the size of a football field began fighting, disrupting and jumping on cars," she said.
Sixty-two police officers were called to the scene to break up the brawl, "sequestering them and separating them," Smith said.
Only minor injuries and damage to property were reported. No gunshots were fired, according to Smith.

600 People Involved in Movie Theater Brawl, 5 Arrested
All five of the people arrested on the scene were charged with crimes related to fighting. Three of those arrested, including one minor, were charged with felonies. Two other juveniles, who have not been named by police, were charged with misdemeanors.
Tevyn Alonza Davis, 19, was charged with resisting arrest and breach of the peace. Jaquade Marquis Miller, 18, was charged with fighting and resisting arrest. Khalil Ahmad Bradley, 17, the only minor charged with a felony, was arrested for resisting arrest, refusal to disperse and breach of the peace.
Davis and Bradley each "took a fighting stance" when confronted by police and told to leave the area, according to arrest reports. Miller, too, "took an aggressive stance" when told by police to leave the parking lot.
According to the movie theater's website, the cinema was showing "Tyler Perry's A Medea Christmas," "47 Ronin," "Grudge Match," "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" along with several other movies.

Las Vegas Cab Driver finds $300,000 in Cash on Back Seat
Las Vegas cab driver Gerardo Gamboa thought someone left a bag of chocolates in the back seat of his vehicle, but the stash turned out to be $300,000 in cold hard cash.
Gamboa said the man gave him a $5 tip after a trip from the Cosmopolitan resort to the Palms Place tower, and Gamboa then drove to the Bellagio resort, where a doorman helping a passenger into the car noticed the bag.
It took several hours to verify the identity of the owner and return the cash. He took Gamboa's information, but didn't immediately leave a reward.
Now, Gamboa is winning honors for honesty after turning in the money he found Monday. The money was returned to an unidentified poker player. Yellow Checker Star Transportation named Gamboa its driver of the year and rewarded him with $1,000 and a dinner for two at a restaurant.
A message left Wednesday for Gamboa at the cab company wasn't immediately returned.
Gamboa told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he had another passenger by the time he began wondering what kind of chocolates were in the brown paper bag. He peeked inside at a traffic light.
"I told my passenger, 'You are my witness on this,'" the 13-year taxi driver told the Las Vegas Sun, "and then I immediately called my dispatcher."
Gamboa took the six bundles of $100 bills to the company's main office, where Las Vegas police and casino officials linked it to the poker player.Gamboa said the man gave him a $5 tip after a trip from the Cosmopolitan resort to the Palms Place tower, and Gamboa then drove to the Bellagio resort, where a doorman helping a passenger into the car noticed the bag.
It took several hours to verify the identity of the owner and return the cash. He took Gamboa's information, but didn't immediately leave a reward.
"If he doesn't give me anything, that's OK," Gamboa told the Sun. "I'm not waiting for any kind of return. I just wanted to do the right thing, and I appreciate what the company did for me."

Son Has Mom Killed For Her Insurance Policy
Wow, her own son plotted to take her out. Son Has Mom Killed For Her Insurance Policy And Bank Accounts According to Chicago Tribune: A West Side man arranged the murder of his mother, a well-known owner of a beauty salon in Uptown, to gain access to more than $90,000 from her bank accounts and the proceeds from two of her life insurance policies, authorities said today. Qawmane Wilson, 24, of the 0-100 block of North Mayfield Avenue in the North Austin neighborhood, has been charged with murder and home invasion in the death of his mother, Yolanda Holmes, 45, in September of 2012, authorities said. Charged with Wilson are Eugene Spencer, 22, of the 6100 block of South Rockwell Street, who prosecutors said killed Holmes, and Loriana Johnson, 23, of the 300 block of East 131st Place, who served as Spencer’s driver. All three were ordered held without bail today by Judge Adam Bourgeois, Jr., who called the slaying a “heinous act.” Holmes, the owner of the Nappy Headzsalon, was killed about 4:15 a.m. Sept. 2 at her home in the 1000 block of West Montrose Avenue, authorities said. An autopsy showed she died of multiple stab wounds and a gunshot wound to her head. What type of sick bastard does this to his MOTHER?!? Wilson was arrested Sunday after a police investigation determined he had arranged to “have his mother murdered,” police said. He was charged with murder and home invasion. Assistant State’s Attorney Maura White said Wilson, who has his mother’s name tattooed on his right shoulder according to court records, liquidated his mother’s bank accounts, valued at over $90,000, a week after her death. He was also the beneficiary of two of her life insurance policies. Cell phone records revealed that Wilson called Spencer and Johnson “before, during and after the murder,” White said. Both Wilson and Spencer admitted to their roles in the scheme, she said. Spencer, arrested Monday, is charged with first degree murder, home invasion, and aggravated discharge of a firearm. He shot Holmes, according to a statement from the Chicago Police Department Office of News Affairs. Johnson, who police said drove Spencer to and from the crime scene, was also arrested Monday and charged with murder and home invasion. -

North Korean leader has Urged the Country's Military to bolster it's Combat Readiness
North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has urged the country's military to bolster its combat readiness, saying a war could break out "without any prior notice", state media reported Wednesday.
The call comes at a time of heightened tension on the Korean Peninsula following the execution of Kim's uncle and former mentor in an unusually public purge.
Kim visited the Command of Large Combined Unit 526 on Christmas Eve, the North's official Korean Central News Agency said.
"He instructed the unit to put utmost spurs on rounding off its combat readiness... always bearing in mind that a war breaks out without any prior notice," it said.
The unit is based in the North's western port city of Nampo, according to the South's Yonhap news agency.
There are growing concerns over the regime's stability after the execution of Jang Song-Thaek, a senior leader who was also the uncle and former political mentor of the younger leader.
Seoul and Washington have warned of possible provocative acts by the nuclear-armed North following the purge.
South Korean President Park Geun-Hye called for "watertight security readiness" during her trip Tuesday to a frontline guard post, describing the situation over the border as "ominous".
"We should react sternly and mercilessly to any provocations by North Korea," she said.
In recent days the reclusive state's propaganda mill has gone into overdrive describing Jang as a traitor while extolling Kim's leadership.
Tens of thousands of troops pledged loyalty to him in a mass rally on the death anniversary of his father last Tuesday.
The Kim dynasty has ruled the impoverished but nuclear-armed state since 1948 with an iron fist and pervasive personality cult.
