The NYPD nabbed a pair of teen robbers Wednesday in the Fort Greene Park section of Brooklyn after they used a phone they stole from a man to take a selfie pic. Cops also suspect that the two have been responsible for a series of muggings in the area, and they now face several counts of robbery. DNAInfo reported on the arrest of 19-year-old Tyquan Solomon and 16-year-old Terrance Sistrunk of the Walt Whitman Houses in Brooklyn. According to the police report, Solomon and Sistrunk encountered a man in the early morning hours of February 2, and brandished a Black BB gun. The teens stole an iPhone and $205 in cash from the 22-year-old victim. Later that day, the victim used an iPhone cloud-based service and discovered several pictures of the robbers posing in selfie photos and holding a wad of cash. The NYPD were able to use the photos to identify the muggers, and then later arrested and charged them each with five counts of robbery.
