New dad Jay-Z
has signed a multi-year global agreement with Duracell as an
investment partner, and will also be the face and voice of the
Duracell Powermat JV, the company announced Tuesday morning (January
10).
"I believe in the future of wireless energy and I believe that Duracell Powermat is the company to bring on the revolution," the rapper said in a statement. "I'm partnering with Duracell Powermat because they're providing the solutions for the future."
The company will be presenting its new line of wireless charging products at the Consumer Electronics Show in L as Vegas this week.
