Rapper M.I.A. provided a middle finger salute to network cameras

Rapper M.I.A. provided a middle finger salute to network cameras Sunday night during the 12-minute extravaganza, when she joined Madonna during a performance of the latter's new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'."
The apologies from the NFL and the broadcaster, NBC, came quickly -- they blamed each other.
"There was a failure in NBC's delay system," said Brian McCarty, the league's vice president of communications. "The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing, and we apologize to our fans."

My opinion:
What's going on in this country? When did individuals stop being responsible for their own actions. For the NFL and NBC to start to blame each other Forman act neither was aware is ridiculous. Has it now become the party with the most cash is to blame for everything that happens. Like when McDonald's was held accountable for one of their patrons spilling hot coffee on her own lap! Come on America. The rapper made the gesture. So, blame responsibility for the act belongs to the rapper. As to the amount of harm done to viewers... Again... Come on. Why attach so much doom and destruction to a digit. There are far worse atrocities in the world then the extension of a middle Falange. Once used to defeat a far superior force. On a battle field so long ago and so far away. It would seem Henry's long bowman, to this day, are still claiming victory far from the fields of Agincourt.
