Thousands Of Crows Disrupt Local Community

CALIFORNIA, Pa. (KDKA) — Thousands of crows have invaded a local town and university and people want the birds gone.

Dave Mason from the American Legion Post in California, Washington County, says it’s even getting in the way of his job.

“They just take off from every direction, they’re just all over the place,” said Mason. “Their feces goes all over you, all over your vehicles and it’s been interfering with our business because people don’t want to come here for that reason.”

Others who live along Second Street say the birds are extremely loud.

“It’s louder than my alarm clock, let’s just put it that way. It’s horrible, the cawing and everything all night long,” said California resident Jess Priest.
